Frequently Asked Questions:

• I'm a previous customer who had an account on the old web site.   Do I need to create a new account? 
  • Yes - for security reason we were unable to transfer your account to the new web site.  Please create a new account.  Click the “My Account” link above.  Then click “Register”.   Key in your account info on the "My Account" page and submit.
     
• I'm a previous customer who had an account with Republic Credits points.  How do I get them transferred to my new account?
  • First - Create a new account.
  • Second - Send an e-mail by clicking the contact us link at the bottom of this page.  Include the following information:
    • Your original e-mail address (account name) on our old site.
    • Your new user-id on the new site
    • Your name
  • We will convert the Republic Credit points to the new site within 72 hours or less.
     
• Will I be able to view my previous orders from the old site? 
  • No - for security reason we were unable to transfer your previous orders to the new web site.  If you have any questions about an older order please send an e-mail by clicking the contact us link at the bottom of this page. 
     
• Does K & C Collectibles purchase items from collectors?
  • Yes - We do purchase items from other collectors.  Send us an e-mail with what you have for sale and the condition of each item.  After we agree on the sale price K & C Collectibles will send half of the payment.  The customer will then ship ALL the merchandise to K & C Collectibles.  After K & C Collectibles receives the items in mint condition we will send the customer the remaining payment.  It is important to note that we don't pay book value.
     
• How does K & C determine the condition of an item?
  • Most collectors use a scale from C1 which is no more than trash to C10 which is perfect mint condition. The collectible merchandise we sale will be C8 to C10 unless otherwise noted on our web site. C8 means it may have a ding on a corner or a small crease. C9 is very little damage may be a very small crease or very small ding on a corner. 95% of the time the merchandise we ship will be C9 or C10.
  • The condition scale is subjective.  Each collector may view the scale differently.  What is C9 to one collector may be C7 to another.
     
• Does K & C Collectibles trade?
  • YES. We will trade merchandise for merchandise. Click on the contact us link at the bottom of this page with what you have for trade and the condition of each item.  Also include what items you want from our web site in trade.  After we agree to the trade the customer will ship the items to K & C Collectibles.  We will in turn ship the customer our merchandise.  It is important to note that trades are a two for one value.
